Bazball vs Skyball: England tour of India 2025
First big assignment for the Indian Cricket Team in 2025 is a T20 and ODI series starting from 22 January, 2025. The series will feature epic clashes, five T20Is and three ODIs across different stadiums in the country.

The series holds great significance for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is the first series of this year and after a heartbreaking defeat in Border Gavaskar Trophy, this series could potentially revive the hopes of Indian fans. Secondly, Suryakumar and Co. will come into action after a long time as the last series they played was in Sri Lanka. A thrilling clash would be seen between ‘Bazball’ and ‘Skyball’ as both are the flag bearers of modern day cricket. Lastly, and the most important factor, is that these matches will help the Indian Team in finalizing their playing XI for Champions Trophy 2025. Hence, necessary exposure will be provided and all the experiments will be done before the mega event commences in February.

Result prediction
It’s hard to say who will crunch whom. But one thing is certain, some high quality matches with nail biting finishes will be witnessed. On one hand, India will enjoy the ‘home ground home crowd’ benefit, on the other, English men will use their IPL experience as it comes handy in predicting conditions.
While the visitors are known for their ‘Bazball’ style, the natives will show their ‘360 degree Skyball’. Overall, it will be an interesting clash as both the teams will bring their best foot forward to clinch the series.
Next year, in 2026, India and Sri Lanka will jointly host the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup. Hence this series is more than just a bilateral event.
