In 2015, deep in the heart of Meerut—India’s sports capital—ZAP Cricket was born. What started as a personal struggle to find the right cricket bat soon turned into a mission to change the game.

Back then, Bhavya Bharadwaj, a lifelong cricket lover, realized that choosing the right bat was confusing, and good bats were simply too expensive—especially for students like us. Lower-grade bats were being sold at premium prices, and the market was ruled by legacy players who left customers with no real choice.

That’s when ZAP was founded—with a rebellious spirit and a clear mission: to make premium, high-performance cricket gear accessible to every player.

Shortly after, in 2021, Ashish Garg after graduating from MICA Ahmedabad, joined the journey—bringing not just his passion as a sportsperson but also hands-on experience in marketing and branding.

Together, we started building something better—direct-to-player, precision-crafted cricket equipment that players can trust. From English Willow bats to longer-lasting gloves, we’ve reimagined the game with every product we design. Today, ZAP is still proudly rooted in Meerut—but our vision is global.
